Chris Kandianis has been passionate about fitness for over 25
years. Her fitness journey began with running, and then expanded to include
weight training, swimming and biking. She has run countless road races,
including the Boston Marathon and completed several triathlons.

Chris began practicing yoga six years ago and
recognized the value it has in developing strength and flexibility while
bringing body/ mind balance to the challenges of daily life. Three years ago,
Chris added pilates to her fitness regimen. This firsthand experience showed her
how helpful it can be in avoiding or recovering from an injury or addressing
other biomechanical body issues. Having benefited directly from this
joint-friendly method for improving core strength, she decided to take her
training to another level by becoming an instructor.
When not teaching,
Chris enjoys rock climbing, skiing, hiking and biking. She has hiked several of
New Hampshire’s 4,000 footers in winter, including Mount Washington. She is
married with one daughter and lives in Westford.
